My artwork explores place-based healing for the individual and the collective through deep connection to the landscape.
With the help of numerous friends and collaborators, this 17’ cedar tree that burned in the 2017 Diamond Creek fire now lives in the Winthrop Public Library as a permanent installation. “Solace” provides a quiet place to spend a moment contemplating the dance between fire and water in our ecosystem and the hope of regeneration in our snow pack.
